Lawson Support Assistant
This position assists the Director of Materials Management Information Systems in running the Lawson Help Desk and office for the Supply Chain Administration department. It supports users who create requisitions in Lawson, answers help‑desk calls, creates and updates item numbers, maintains training calendars, and runs queries while ensuring policies are current.
Responsibilities- Answer phone calls for the Lawson Help Desk and resolve user inquiries about placing orders, funding, items, and invoices.
- Create and update items in Lawson and coordinate approvals and paperwork with Purchasing.
- Create reports with Microsoft Access, run Excel add‑ins, and produce Crystal reports.
- Develop item templates to streamline order entry in Lawson.
- Maintain the Lawson training calendar, print class rosters, and distribute necessary paperwork.
- Run request queries using Microsoft Excel Add‑ins and Crystal reporting.
- Update department policies as needed.
- Associate’s degree and at least one year of experience in a hospital or health‑care setting, or, in lieu of a degree, at least three years of such experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Teamwork experience.
- Five or more years of Lawson experience.
- Administrative experience.
- Microsoft Project experience.
Anticipated pay range: $49,309 – $60,489 per year. Additional compensation may include location pay and other available benefits such as leave, health plans, and a state pension.
