One full-time clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Neurological Surgery for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurosurgeon via ABNS (via ACGME route), AOA, and/or RCPSC (see qualifications). Position entails joining a multidisciplinary academic neurosurgery practice, including elective practice and shared neurosurgical trauma call at a Level One Trauma Center. The department is comprised of neurosurgeons, neurosurgical residents, spine physiatrists, neurointensivists and specially trained Advanced Practice Providers in an academic setting with research opportunities.
Required Qualifications- MD, DO (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of a ACGME or FRCSC neurosurgical residency program.
- Board Eligible / Board Certified by ABNS, AOA or RCPSC in Neurosurgery.
- ABPNS accredited Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurosurgery a must.
- Must have New York State medical license upon hire and be eligible for one upon application.
- Possession of PhD (or foreign equivalent).
- Evidence of interest in clinical or basic research.
- Completion of Clinician Investigator Program.
