Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time administrative experience (student experience may be considered). Experience with computer applications and/or using databases or spreadsheets to track information and/or develop reports.

Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Project management skills. Experience producing virtual meetings/events. Experience working with diverse populations. Experience working with interns in a leadership capacity, i.e. mentoring, supervising, coaching or training. Experience conducting presentations.

This role fosters the partnership between the Career Center and the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences to create and manage experiential programs as the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP). Successful candidates will have a growth mindset, strong work ethic, creativity, resourcefulness, a methodical, organized approach to work, and outstanding communication skills. The incumbent will be culturally competent, understanding the cultural and experiential differences that impact the student experience, and will be able to communicate effectively across cultures.

Can thrive as part of a fast-paced, continuously moving team that strives for personal bests every day, with a high level of independence, the ability to prioritize assignments, and the capacity to meet deadlines. This position also requires strong oral communication skills.

• Manage operation of the VIP program, working with faculty and students to promote projects and recruit participants, liaising with Faculty Project Director regularly. Establish and service relationships between VIP teams and community/industry partners. Collaborate with faculty to expand VIP and experiential learning opportunities for CEAS and students from other majors, i.e. co-op, multidisciplinary and industry capstone projects. Organize programs to promote experiential learning programs and enhance the student experience.

• Provide individual and group career coaching for undergraduate and graduate students participating in VIP and other experiential programs for a variety of career needs: exploration, experience, networking, and job search strategy. Utilize multiple methods of service…
