Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) | Full-Time Contract | $78-$82/hr

• Setting: University Student Health Services / Urgent Care
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay: $78–$82/hour (flexible and negotiable based on experience)

A university-based Student Health Services department in Suffolk County, NY is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide primary and urgent care to a college student population. This role offers clinical autonomy, predictable weekday hours, and a collaborative academic healthcare environment.

• Provide primary and urgent care to college students
• Perform exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Order tests and prescribe medications
• Provide gynecologic and reproductive health services
• Educate patients on treatment and preventive care
• Collaborate with care teams and make referrals as needed
• Document care in the electronic health record

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Active, unrestricted New York State RN and NP licenses
• Meets NYS requirements for independent NP practice
  * No Collaborators* (3,600 clinical hours/2 + years full-time experience)
• Prescriptive authority and DEA eligibility
• Current BLS certification
