Overview
The Department of Pediatrics, Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is recruiting for a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) who will provide direct care to patients in our Level 3b Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and network affiliate newborn nursery and delivery room in collaboration with an Attending Neonatologist. The individual will assist in the annual review of NNP protocols and instruct residents and NP students in DR resuscitation and NICU stabilization skills (e.g. NRP).
Required Qualifications- New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Master's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Nursing.
- Completion of a course for a Nurse Practitioner and certification as a Neonatal Practice Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience working in Pediatrics.
- Five or more years of clinical experience working in Pediatrics.
Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
Anticipated Start DateAs soon as possible.
