RN Unit Manager – Evening Shift
Skilled Nursing Facility
Up to $115,000 annually | Full-Time | Evening Shift
We are looking for a motivated RN Unit Manager to oversee resident care and nursing operations during the evening shift. This position is ideal for a hands‑on nursing professional who leads by example, supports their team, and takes pride in delivering excellent resident outcomes.
Your RoleProvide clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team.
Oversee resident care and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs and provide guidance when needed.
Conduct rounds and monitor residents for changes in condition.
Ensure medications, treatments, documentation, and physician orders are appropriately managed.
Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
Assist with staffing, assignments, and daily unit operations.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
Identify clinical concerns and take appropriate action.
Support infection prevention, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
Coach and mentor nursing staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
Active RN license in the applicable state.
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions in a busy clinical environment.
