Clinical Instructor - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for supervising the Infusion center at Stony Brook Cancer Center (Part-Time position). The APP will report to the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology. Independently assess and evaluate patients in the infusion clinic of Stony Brook Cancer Center who present with new or progressive symptoms/signs. Manage complications of chemotherapy including writing/editing chemotherapy orders. Manage outpatient phone calls including toxicity assessments and recommendations.

Provide coverage and management for sick walk-ins. Knowledge of basic software packages and hospital information systems (EMR). Nurse Practitioner:
Current NYS RN license. Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Nursing. NYS license and certification as an Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant: NYS License and certification as a Physician Assistant. Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) from an accredited school of PA's.
