Stony Brook University’s Long Island State Veterans Home is seeking a Trades Generalist who performs journey-level work in one trade and skilled work in others, often supervising maintenance, repair, installation and construction tasks.
You will read diagrams and schematics, install and repair electrical systems, manage generator and shop equipment, and perform HVAC, plumbing and carpentry duties. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices within a 24/7 facility.
