Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The Customer Service Representative is heavily integrated with Fiscal Intermediary Processing & Support Services and the company as a whole. Working with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, we are the face and voice of the company and are first to hear of problems needing resolution, providers of program-related resource information, and liaisons to other departments.

  • Call center and phone customer service experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual preferred: fluent in English and other languages
  • Stoughton office location
  • 3 months required in person for training, hybrid thereafter
  • Full time, 35 hours a week
  • Monday
    - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
  • Answers consumer inquiries by utilizing multiple modules and programs to assist in first call resolution
  • Learn, retain, and apply information based on training materials related to program topics
  • Liaison to other departments within the company
Competencies
  • Ability to multitask: speak on call while reading notes, utilize appropriate modules for research, engage the caller while researching, and take notes during the call
  • Professional, friendly, and understanding of the consumer’s situation
  • Attentive to details
  • Team player and capable of working independently
  • Problem solving skills
  • Punctual and dependable
Preferred Experience
  • Call center and customer service experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual a plus
Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk and/or hear. Frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Travel

No travel is required for this position.
