Full Time | Competitive Pay - Up to $65/hr based on experience

The Lead Special Education Teacher provides educational instruction and develops Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students aged 3–21 with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. This includes supervising staff, implementing clinical and teaching programs, and maintaining safety and compliance within the classroom.

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Severe Disabilities) certification
• Eligible to teach in MA through DESE
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred (or enrollment in a Master’s program for DESE waiver).
• Designs & delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities
• Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development
• Classroom experience Monday Friday, structured setting
• Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchair bound preferred
• Strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills; knowledge of ABA principles.
