8 D Pay Rate: $2367.00 - $2440.00 This travel BCBA opportunity is based in Stoughton, Massachusetts, a welcoming town just south of Boston. Stoughton offers the convenience of suburban living with easy access to big-city amenities. You can enjoy local parks and community events in town, while being a short drive from Boston’s historic neighborhoods, museums, cultural attractions, and coastal destinations.

The surrounding area offers vibrant dining, shopping, and entertainment options, along with outdoor recreation at beaches, hiking trails, and nearby New England attractions. In this role, you will serve as an Educational Coordinator/Program Function Manager in a specialized school-based setting supporting students with significant behavioral and educational needs. The program features small, structured classrooms serving students approximately ages 12 to 18.

Each classroom typically has 6 to 8 students, with 4 to 6 staff members and 1 teacher per class, allowing for intensive support, close supervision, and meaningful relationship-building with students and team members. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Director of School Services with the day-to-day operation of classroom educational services and the implementation and monitoring of all behavioral programming.

You will play a central role in ensuring that every student’s Individual Education Program (IEP) is effectively supported and that the behavioral interventions in place are appropriate for the ages and populations served.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring appropriate staffing resources in each classroom, including the number of staff, their training, and ongoing supervision to support each student’s IEP Overseeing and monitoring behavioral programming, including development, implementation, and data-driven evaluation of behavior plans Collaborating closely with Lead Special Education Teachers to support curriculum implementation, under the guidance of Curriculum Coordinators Helping to shape a positive, structured learning environment that integrates academic instruction with evidence-based behavioral supports Assisting the Director of School Services in meeting all requirements for acquiring and maintaining applicable program licenses, certifications, and accreditations Promoting best practices in applied behavior analysis across classrooms and helping to maintain consistency and quality of behavioral interventions Providing training, coaching, and feedback to staff to strengthen their skills in implementing behavior plans and data collection A typical day in this role may include conducting classroom observations, reviewing and analyzing behavior data, supporting staff with program implementation, collaborating with teachers and curriculum staff to align behavior strategies with educational goals, and participating in meetings related to IEPs and program oversight.

You will also help ensure that policies and procedures remain in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, contributing to a well-organized, high-quality program. The schedule is a full-time, school-based assignment, generally 40 hours per week, with hours approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
