Job DescriptionStoughton Public Schools seeks a highly qualified Elementary ELE teacher to join our MLL department in serving our schools’ multilingual student population. The teacher will coordinate ELE services and provide direct ESL instruction, develop English language proficiency goals that are clear and measurable, track student progress, administer state‑mandated EL screening assessments, the annual WIDA ACCESS exam, coordinate redesignation of ELs, monitor FEL students, and maintain EL records in accordance with DESE guidance.
The teacher will collaborate with general‑education and content teachers to share best practices and ensure high‑quality sheltered English instruction. The candidate must hold a valid Massachusetts ESL teaching license. Review of applications will begin promptly.
