Wilkins Elementary School has an immediate opening for a Cafeteria Manager for the 2026/2027 school year.

A minimum of five years experience as a cook, manager or assistant manager.

• Must be Serve Safe and Allergy Certified. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Must have computer skills, inventory skills and record keeping skills.
• Must have an understanding of DESE and HACCP reports and know how to properly fill them out.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work with the Food Service Director, kitchen staff, Principal and building staff.
• Must have good phone skills.

Reports to:

The Director of Food Services

Supervises:
All kitchen staff

Job Goals:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the school meals operation.

Promote pride in the food service program among all kitchen employees and building staff.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
School Calendar Year. (182 days) - Monday
- Friday 7 hours per day

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the procedures set in place by school administration.

SALARY: To be commensurate with annual Food Services Department salary schedule.
