Position Description:

The Area Practice Manager (APM) leads teams who are directly responsible for the orthotic & prosthetic care of pediatric patients. To do this, they will demonstrate strong organizational leadership through coaching & developing team members, thinking creatively and with vision to solve problems, managing finances & budgets, planning strategically for the future, and communicating change. They are responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the overall operations of assigned clinics within their geographic region.

APMs have a strong desire and ability to foster teamwork and collaboration so that we can advance our cause of helping more kids.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develops highly functioning teamswhowork together,follow standards,and are committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ensures individuals are fully competent and confident in their role and with their responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with other leaders and department heads to provide resources and support to teams, and to promptly resolve problems as they are identified.
  • Assists Human Resourceswiththe full employee life cyclethroughhiring decisions, onboarding, training,and performance management.
  • Provides ongoing direction and feedback to develop and rewardteam members through regular 1:1s as well as the formal performancereviewprocess.
  • Manages clinic payroll, time offrequests,and employee scheduling.
  • Establishes and drivesteam goals wherethe knowledge, skills, relationships, andutilizationof our service programs areleveragedto increase the quality, timeliness, and efficacy of care provided to a growing number of kids.
  • Monitors all work in progressanduses available

    EMR and ERPreporting tools to ensure work is progressing throughthestandard workflowappropriately andtimelyandtakesappropriate actiontomeet financial targets.
Education/Experience:
  • Degree in Healthcare Administration and/orat least5 years related experience in

    Healthcare

    Practice Management.
  • Experience inorthotics &prosthetics industry preferred.
