Certified Nursing Assistant

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Geriatric/Psychiatry team on a Full-Time basis. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for administering direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or other qualified staff. This position may also perform general clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.

• Required:
  
  Successful Completion of a Certified Nursing Program.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Prefer previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
• Requires non‑violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar basis.

  Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
• Microsoft Office Suite
  
  Skills:
  
  Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

• Full‑Time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 hours per week
• Scheduled Days:
  Monday – Friday
• Scheduled Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Every 3rd Holiday, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
