Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• Work collaboratively to provide compassionate care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred

Demonstrates expertise in performing cardiopulmonary procedures, maintaining respiratory care equipment, and providing compassionate patient care. Holds necessary certifications and possesses clinical experience to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
