Welder

Our client, a leader in thermal process technology, has an immediate need for an experienced Welder
, to join their winning team in Stoughton.

Our candidate of choice will bring experience with hand welding operations on a wide range of metal and alloys for complex precision assemblies involving a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements. You will use your experience in the fabrication of pressure vessels and welding a variety of materials, as well as pipe fitting (preferred). Considerable skill will be required fusing dissimilar metals, obtaining maximum weld strength, and avoiding distortion.

• Performs high quality GTAW, FCAW, and SMAW welds.
• Reads and understands drawings and supporting manufacturing documentation.
• Uses precision measuring instruments.
• Able to layout, fit up and fabricate steel, stainless and aluminum weldments.
• Able to work with little supervision and be a self-starter.

• High School/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with welding a variety of materials
• Experience working with large parts.
