Job Overview – Experienced CNC Milling Machinist needed at F.H. Peterson Machine Corp., Stoughton, MA. Key duties include operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, programming with Mastercam 24 and Solid Works, using hand tools, inspecting finished parts with GD&T, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating to improve production efficiency.

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam 24 and Solid Works.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Conduct inspections of finished products using GD&T principles to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Proven experience as a 3-axis CNC Machinist in a job shop environment (minimum 3 years).
  Required
• Proficiency in programming CNC machines; familiarity with Mastercam and Solid Works (highly desirable).
• Experience with 4- and 5-axis machining and wire EDM is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles for quality assurance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
