Production Associate
Join a growing advanced manufacturing team in Stoughton, MA as a Production Associate, where you will support aerospace and defense applications by working hands-on with composite materials in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will follow detailed work instructions and blueprints, operate a variety of tools and equipment, perform quality inspections, and help maintain a clean and safe production floor. This role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and an interest in building a long-term career in advanced manufacturing;
prior experience is helpful but not required, as comprehensive training is provided.
- Perform manufacturing operations using composite materials, including layup, trimming, finishing, and related processes to produce high-quality parts.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure products meet engineering and customer requirements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use measuring devices such as tape measures and other shop equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect parts and materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and report any defects or nonconformances.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled individual work station and surrounding production area.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support staff to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment while following strict manufacturing and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Participate in hands-on training and skill development activities related to composite manufacturing and production operations.
- Successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings and comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and blueprints.
- Comfort working with hand tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new manufacturing processes.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Willingness to follow strict safety and environmental guidelines.
- Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Eligibility to comply with applicable export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) as required for the role.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in composites, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience.
- Experience with quality inspection processes and basic measurement tools.
- Ability to work in cleanroom or controlled environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
- Forklift experience; company will provide certification as needed.
- Experience using tape measures, cutting tools, and other shop equipment in a production setting.
- Comfort operating hand tools and power tools for fabrication and finishing tasks.

The work involves standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with a stable and consistent schedule in a structured manufacturing facility.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
