Registered Nurse Stoughton Specialty

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning
• Perform discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May serve as Charge Nurse

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification required
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge planning while utilizing the nursing process. Holds current RN licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS certification required for Charge Nurse roles.
