Compensation: $80,000- $100,000 /year

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth for Bossard North America through a combination of new business development, strategic account management, and customer retention. This role focuses on identifying and securing new customers, expanding existing accounts, and developing long-term partnerships while supporting company sales and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market development activities.
  • Grow and retain existing customer accounts by identifying expansion opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve established sales targets.
  • Promote Bossard North America's products, services, and supply chain solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Coordinate customer programs, product launches, and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer implementation and ongoing support.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or the fastener industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 40%.
