Job Description

The Account Manager will persuade customers to purchase Garage Kings installation services, demonstrate products and services, provide accurate quotes based on assessments of customers’ garages, basements, or other flooring, and support customers with product selection.

  • Travel within an assigned territory to conduct face‑to‑face estimate meetings.

  • Driven by earning potential in an uncapped Outside Sales commission environment.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Research competitors’ products, pricing, and market conditions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Drive).
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
  • May be on feet for long periods.
  • Ability to move in awkward/tight positions.
Basic Duties
  • Complete tasks as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Conduct in‑home sales demonstrations and assessments.
  • Use tools to provide accurate quotes.
  • Develop technical product design and sales persuasion skills.
  • Listen and respond to customer questions.
  • Occasionally work outside the office at events (home shows, boat shows, community events) to promote products and generate leads.
  • Conduct follow‑up calls with potential customers.
  • Collect initial payment for service and ensure contracts are completed accurately.
  • Communicate immediately with office support and lead installer when assistance is needed.
  • Always be courteous to customers.
  • Communicate regularly with the General Manager and Owners to keep them apprised of progress and issues.
  • Generate personal leads by canvassing, following up with previous customers, and other lead‑generation sources.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.

  • Adhere to company safety procedures.
  • Non‑tolerance of sexual or unlawful discriminatory actions, gestures, harassment, or statements.
  • Report such behavior to management immediately; subject to personnel action up to termination.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company records and information at all times.
