A day in the life

You start by reviewing scheduled inspections, then head onsite to verify valves, test flows, and document performance. If a deficiency appears, you troubleshoot, repair, and retest. You wrap up by updating clear records for clients and coordinating with teammates to keep timelines on track.

What you’ll handle

Install, service, and repair automatic fire sprinkler systems in line with local codes and applicable NFPA standards.

Perform routine and acceptance inspections, testing, and verifications to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose issues in existing systems and complete corrective actions efficiently.

Deliver professional, courteous customer service while addressing client questions and concerns.

Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Stay current with evolving industry standards, NFPA updates, and best practices.

Collaborate closely with team members to meet schedules and complete projects on time.

What you bring

Valid Fire Sprinkler Technician license.

Hands-on experience installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.

Solid knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.

Sharp troubleshooting ability and strong attention to detail.

Comfort working independently and within a team setting.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
