Tank Maintenance

Diesel Direct Inc., a leading mobile on-site fueling provider, is seeking a Tank Maintenance Technician in Stoughton, MA. In this field-based role, you will inspect, clean, and repair above ground fuel storage tanks, pumps, hoses, and related equipment at company and customer locations. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot leaks and mechanical issues, and ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused culture, you'll collaborate with operations and drivers to keep fueling operations reliable and minimize downtime, with growth opportunities in fleet, operations, or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain fuel storage tanks, pumps, hoses, vents, and valves
• Diagnose and repair leaks, mechanical issues, and equipment failures to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Document inspections, repairs, and parts used in maintenance systems and service logs
• Follow all safety, environmental, and OSHA requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and operations to schedule tank service with minimal disruption
• Support environmental compliance activities such as spill response and containment
• Use hand and power tools, testing equipment, and basic welding or fabrication as needed
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates while working on-site
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and recommend upgrades or repairs
