Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take direction from supervisors to ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion of all jobs
• Perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions
• Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic controlin order to complete restoration activities without quality defects, safety incidentsor any type of property damage
• Complete daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles,trailer sand equipment
• Operate all vehicles, equipment and tools while adhering to company safety standards
• Works efficiently to achievea high levelof productivity daily
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors,inspectors and client representatives
• Completes paperwork for job and material tracking, time reporting and vehicle use inan accurateandtimelymanner
• Understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
• Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills

Success Factors:

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
• Ability tolift upto 80lbsmultiple times during a work shift
• Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking,stooping,and kneeling
• Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
• Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, andcomply withdrug-free workplace policy
• English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports
• Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills

Experience and

Education:

• 2-3 years of concrete/finishing experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in the construction, underground or telecom industry
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, grasp, push, pull and reach on a frequent basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift-up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Required to travel out of town to work on projects of varying length approximately 10% of the time
• CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement preferred

Additional Requirements/

Licenses/Certifications:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, avalid State of Residence Driver’s License isrequiredwithin two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
