Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take direction from supervisors to ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion of all jobs
- Perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions
- Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic controlin order to complete restoration activities without quality defects, safety incidentsor any type of property damage
- Complete daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles,trailer sand equipment
- Operate all vehicles, equipment and tools while adhering to company safety standards
- Works efficiently to achievea high levelof productivity daily
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors,inspectors and client representatives
- Completes paperwork for job and material tracking, time reporting and vehicle use inan accurateandtimelymanner
- Understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills
Success Factors:
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
- Ability tolift upto 80lbsmultiple times during a work shift
- Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking,stooping,and kneeling
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
- Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, andcomply withdrug-free workplace policy
- English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports
- Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills
Experience and
Education:
- 2-3 years of concrete/finishing experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in the construction, underground or telecom industry
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, grasp, push, pull and reach on a frequent basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift-up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Required to travel out of town to work on projects of varying length approximately 10% of the time
- CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement preferred
Additional Requirements/
Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, avalid State of Residence Driver’s License isrequiredwithin two weeks of employment.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
