Health Unit Coordinator

Job Overview

Stoughton Health offers an excellent opportunity for a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Services team on a full‑time basis.

• Prepare and maintain files of medical records
• Answer phones and triage phone calls to professional staff
• Manage supplies and assist staff in meeting their needs to do their jobs

• High school graduate or equivalent; post‑high school vocational/specialized training preferred
• Previous clerical experience preferred; similar or related experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Non‑violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years (rolling calendar basis)
• Basic computer skills – email, internal websites, electronic health records, online learning tools
• Microsoft Office Suite basics (open, save, edit documents, write a letter)
• Full‑time, 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week), variable days between Monday and Friday; shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am; holiday rotation every third
