About the RoleAs a Customer Service Representative in the manufacturing industry, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our company and our valued customers across the United States. Your role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing detailed product information. You will collaborate closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to facilitate smooth order processing and timely delivery.
By maintaining accurate records and tracking customer interactions, you will contribute to continuous improvement in service quality. Ultimately, your efforts will help strengthen customer relationships and support the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with manufacturing order management systems or ERP software.
- Familiarity with product specifications and manufacturing processes.
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, to support a diverse customer base.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and conflict resolution experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and issue resolution related to manufacturing products.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality control, and shipping to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and feedback in the company’s CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and communicate customer feedback to relevant teams.
The required communication skills enable you to clearly and empathetically interact with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed efficiently. Proficiency with CRM and office software allows you to document interactions accurately and manage customer data effectively. Multitasking and time management skills help you balance multiple customer requests and internal coordination tasks without compromising service quality. Preferred skills such as knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP systems enhance your ability to provide detailed product information and streamline order handling.
Additionally, bilingual capabilities expand your reach to a broader customer base, improving overall service accessibility and satisfaction.
