Experienced Sterile Processing Technician

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Supply team on a Full‑time basis. The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and preparing instruments and equipment for all departments in the hospital.

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
• Post‑secondary coursework in Sterile Processing skills (Preferred)
• Prior experience as a hospital Sterile Processing Technician (Required)
• Sterile Processing Certification required within one year of hire (Licensure)
• Sterile Processing Certification upon hire (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills – access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools for continuing education (Required)
• Microsoft Office Suite basic skills – opening a document, changing font, saving a document, writing a letter (Required)

• Full Time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 Hours Per Week
• 8 or 12‑hour shifts
• Scheduled Days:
  Monday – Friday
• Scheduled Shift: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm OR 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
• Every 4th Weekend On‑Call hours (Friday 4:00 pm to Monday 7:00 am)
• Every 4th Holiday On‑Call
