* Job Summary:

* The Production Associate III operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements, ensuring safety within a manufacturing environment. May instruct or coach others as part of daily responsibilities.

*
* Key Responsibilities:

*
* ** Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):*
* + Stop work and promptly report any major injury hazards.

+ Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.

+ Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

+ Use proper personal protective equipment.

+ Promote interdependence and look out for team members.

+ Correct hazards within personal control and capabilities.

+ Recognize and minimize environmental impacts from work.

+ Participate in all required HSE training.

** Quality:*
* + Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (e.g. SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).

+ Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

+ Perform quality inspections and identify/control non-conforming material.

** Delivery:*
* + Operate equipment independently to manufacture and assemble products to customer expectations.

+ Instruct and coach others as an informal resource for less experienced team members.

+ Achieve production goals and maintain required cycle time or engineering standards.

+ Keep work area clean and orderly, performing housekeeping and planned operator care/maintenance tasks.

+ Remain flexible and perform other duties as needed to meet production goals.

+ Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain/identify equipment requiring repair.

Skills:

Manual lathe, milling machine, CNC milling machine experience

* + General laborer role focusing on welding and machining projects.
