Sauce Line Operator
The Operator supports safe and efficient production operations in a cleanroom environment by handling finished product, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with basic production tasks. This role works on the first shift and focuses on stacking and inspecting finished goods, clearing equipment jams, and keeping the work area organized and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities- Hand stack finished product boxes onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect finished products for damage and reject any items that do not meet quality standards.
- Unjam packing machines and restore normal operation following established procedures.
- Clean and maintain the maintenance area, including sweeping and performing basic sanitation tasks as needed.
- Perform accurate finished product counts and record quantities as required.
- Follow all cleanroom, production, and packaging procedures to support consistent product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Lift and move materials weighing 20 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.
- Support general production and shop work as directed by supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while working on the production floor.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or general labor environments.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom setting and follow strict cleanliness and GMP standards.
- Experience with packaging or production work, including handling finished goods.
- Ability to lift 20 or more pounds safely and repeatedly.
- Capability to perform general shop and production floor tasks.
- Attention to detail when inspecting products for damage and quality issues.
- Basic understanding of inventory or product counting processes.
- Ability to safely clear jams from packing machines following instructions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a food, pharmaceutical, or other GMP-regulated environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and hygiene requirements is an advantage.
- Comfort working with overtime when production demands increase.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a structured, shift-based role.

WorkEnvironment
This is a 1st shift position with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role is based in a cleanroom and production environment that follows strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Team members must wear appropriate attire, including a hair net and beard net where applicable, along with nonslip or hard-toed shoes. No jewelry or piercings are allowed on the production floor to maintain safety and product integrity.
The work involves standing, moving, lifting 20+ pounds, and performing hands-on tasks around production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced, organized facility.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
