Job Requirements

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Geriatric Psychiatry team on a full‑time basis.

• Assumes direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the registered nurse and/or other qualified staff.
• Assists patients in ADLs in an effective and timely manner.
• Ensures patients' safety.
• Performs clerical duties to assist in the smooth operation of the unit.
• Participates in continued personal growth and development.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer previous experience in a hospital and/or healthcare setting.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Non‑violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar.

Basic computer skills are expected for this position. Microsoft Office Suite skills: beginning skills able to perform basic tasks such as opening a document, changing font, saving a document, writing a letter.

Full time, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled days:
Monday–Friday. Week hours: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Occasional weekends. Every 3rd holiday.
