_As a Test Technician Associate, you'll be responsible for operating sophisticated test equipment, supporting diesel engine and aftertreatment development programs, and ensuring accurate emissions measurements. ** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:*
* + Build and prepare high-quality test articles and auxiliary equipment that enable safe, efficient, and repeatable testing operations.
+ Install and configure test articles within test cells, rigs, and structures to ensure accurate setup alignment and reliable performance validation.
+ Execute tests in strict accordance with established procedures and methodologies, helping maintain consistency, compliance, and technical integrity.
+ Deliver accurate, dependable test data that engineers and stakeholders can confidently use to support design, certification, and performance decisions.
+ Operate, configure, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems to capture meaningful results and improve the quality and reliability of test reporting.
+ Apply deep knowledge of test equipment functionality to identify issues, validate results, and strengthen overall testing accuracy and efficiency.
+ Support laboratory readiness by maintaining equipment, performing troubleshooting, and improving test stand setups to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams by providing technical recommendations on equipment upgrades, supplier evaluations, instrumentation, and facility improvements that enhance testing capability and long-term operational success.

+ Stay action oriented by approaching challenges with urgency, adaptability, and energy while remaining dependable under tight timelines and changing priorities.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with engineers, technicians, and leadership to ensure test objectives, issues, and results are fully understood.
+ Manage complex testing environments by analyzing large amounts of technical information, troubleshooting problems efficiently, and making sound decisions under pressure.
+ Develop strong knowledge of product function test systems so you can interpret test requirements, select the right instrumentation, and ensure equipment capability meets testing needs.
+ Master test setup and configuration by accurately interpreting test plans, positioning equipment correctly, and building reliable systems that meet safety and environmental standards.
+ Build and prepare test articles with precision, ensuring instrumentation and accommodation are properly installed so testing can be completed successfully and consistently.
+ Focus on equipment reliability and data integrity by applying preventative maintenance practices, monitoring system performance, and ensuring all collected data is accurate, complete, and trustworthy.
** Education/Experience*
* + High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
+ Regionally applicable certification or two-year associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
+ Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
