Job Purpose:
Maintain and repair all plant and operations equipment. Build and modify new equipment and facilities.
- Operate all types of tools and machines essential and necessary to the job, including but not limited to electrical meter, hand tools, hand‑held power tools, electrical components, torches, grinders, welders, forklifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and computer equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, tear down and replace compressors, pumps, welders, punches, presses, shears, cranes, hoists, conveyors, heating and cooling ventilation systems, electrical systems, small hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and paint equipment.
- Troubleshoot line repairs and breakdowns.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Perform machine and fixture set‑ups.
- Operate overhead cranes and other lifting devices.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
- Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product through root cause fixes.
- Must provide own tools and perform maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime.
- Other duties may be assigned by the company.

- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, based on education and work experience. - Licenses/Certifications:
List any other certifications. - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with equipment teardowns and rebuilds (e.g., mechanical and hydraulic press breaks).
- Experience with installing/troubleshooting frequency drives.
- Advanced welding fabrication.
- Electrical/control troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of tool and die equipment (e.g., drill press, mill, grinding, etc).
- Skilled predictive maintenance.
- Experience with repairing/rebuilding paint pumps, electrostatic guns and blasting equipment.
- Must be able to perform new equipment set‑up and diagnostics.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace, understand urgency, be open to new and different things, and express opinions regarding work methods and blueprints. Must be willing to take responsibility for mistakes.
- Must have the ability to read multimeter and computer equipment.
- Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, operator manuals and maintenance manuals, dimensional and weld prints.
- Must have the ability to document work logs, update manuals, create P.M. scheduling program, record keeping, component changes.
- Must have the ability to communicate information orally and/or written, to other personnel in a clear, concise manner.
- Must have basic math skills, especially fractions.

Efficiently train maintenance tech 1 employees respectfully and willingly. - Advanced:
Perform tasks with very little or no help 90% of the time. Professional attitude with excellent inter‑department and organizational skills.
