CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

This is a full-time, Union Position for a Construction Foreman to oversee underground utility, concrete, excavation, pavement and dirt projects, ensuring quality and efficiency, located in Stow, Ohio.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead crew members
  • Ensure the construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and above the required quality standards
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors when needed
  • Ability to perform varies types of construction work in accordance with applicable ODOT and county specifications
  • Complete jobs on time and within budget
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy highway construction work
  • Understand how to read and interpret blueprint reading, plans and specifications
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment
  • Ability to calculate materials necessary to complete work
  • Strong communication, planning and analytical skills
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours worked
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure that all crew members comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites
