Production Technician

Position Overview

Production Technician position at DuPont’s Stow site, working the 2nd or 3rd shift in a light manufacturing facility. The role involves handling liquid resins, operating presses, ovens, and performing assembly operations.

Shift Pay
:
Starting wage $23.83 per hour. 2nd or 3rd shift premium $2.50 per hour from 3:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Shift Schedules
: 2nd shift 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.; 3rd shift 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Bonus
: $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment.

• Ensure quality and conformance with standard operating procedures and equipment instructions.
• Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment.
• Visually inspect final products for defects and adherence to specifications, using micrometers, calipers, automated gauges, and templates.
• Complete in‑house training to obtain visual and dimensional inspection stamps.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and ethical standards (AS9100D).

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and wear a respirator as required.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and adjust hours as needed.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, line or manufacturing leadership, leadership experience in related field.

Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 55 lbs. and wear a respirator.
