- Bindery to support secure, technology-driven production for government and defense clients. In this role, you will operate and monitor bindery and finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality, accurate output that meets strict specifications and deadlines. You will follow detailed work instructions, perform basic equipment setup and adjustments, inspect materials for quality, and document production data. The technician collaborates closely with engineering, IT, and production teams in a mission-focused environment that emphasizes integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bindery and finishing equipment to meet production schedules
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines per job specifications and work instructions
- Inspect in-process and finished materials for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Follow safety, security, and data-handling procedures for government and defense work
- Record production data, downtime, and quality checks in logs or digital systems
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production staff to resolve issues and improve workflow
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on bindery equipment
- Read and interpret job tickets, technical instructions, and standard operating procedures
