As a Precision Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-quality metallic components. You will utilize your expertise in manual machining to interpret complex blueprints, ensuring every part meets rigorous tolerance standards while optimizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities- Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine optimal machining sequences and setup requirements.
- Configure and operate conventional milling, turning, and drilling equipment to fabricate precision parts.
- Calculate and adjust machining parameters, including feed rates, spindle speeds, and coolant flow, to maximize tool life and part quality.
- Perform critical quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and refine manufacturing processes.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace by strictly adhering to all industrial safety protocols and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating manual lathes and milling equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex machining blueprints, including /OD tolerances.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring climbing, stooping, and kneeling.
- Experience working with stainless steel and high‑performance tool steel alloys.
- Basic familiarity with CNC programming and editing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop custom fabrication sketches from general project descriptions.
