Primary Pet Care in Stow, Ohio, is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our close-knit team. We’re a two-doctor small animal practice offering wellness care, dentistry, spay and neuter procedures, and urgent care services.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

  • Gather thorough patient histories and obtain relevant information for appointments
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
  • Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care
  • Assist with sample collection and diagnostic procedures based on experience
  • Support dental, surgical, wellness, and urgent care appointments
  • Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
  • Maintain clear, complete, and accurate medical records
  • Keep exam rooms and treatment areas clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to maintain an efficient daily workflow
  • Jump in where needed to help the team deliver exceptional patient care
