Multi Site HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Multi-Site HVAC Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance operations across multiple residential apartment communities. The Multi-Site HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC equipment while assisting with general apartment maintenance as needed. This role travels between multiple properties to ensure residents receive prompt, high-quality service and that all HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and related equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
  • Complete HVAC installations and component replacements as needed.
  • Respond to maintenance service requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Assist with general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, when necessary.
  • Prepare vacant suits for presentation and move-ins.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property managers, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of HVAC maintenance or service experience, preferably in multifamily housing or residential property management.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
  • HVAC certification or technical training strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned apartment communities.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
