Truck Driver NON CDL

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a NON-CDL Truck Driver in Stow, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Pay: $1100 or more per week.
• Driver positions pay weekly.
• Hours per week: 48+ hours.
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile with 1,234 miles per week.
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop with 51 stops per week.
• Paid Training.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, no weekends.
• Start time: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM.

• Safely drive a vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience (equipment similar to straight truck or box truck):
• 6 months experience in the past 3 years, or
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

• Deliver SOLO: 80 mile radius of Stow, OH.
• Route:
  Local Home Daily.
• Truck Type:
  Box Truck 22' & 26'.
• Equipment:
  Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck.
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful.
• Freight:
  Touch – Auto Parts.
