Inventory Manager

Full Time Operations Stow, OH, US 1 Attachments

4 days ago Requisition

We're looking for a hands-on Inventory Manager to lead our Shipping & Receiving team while overseeing the inventory processes that keep our manufacturing operation running smoothly.

This is a working leadership role where you'll balance people leadership, inventory management, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement as part of your day. You'll spend time both in the office and on the manufacturing floor, partnering with teams across the business to improve inventory accuracy, strengthen material flow, and ensure production has what it needs to meet customer demand.

If you enjoy building efficient processes, solving operational problems, and leading people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to meet you.

What you'll do...

You'll lead the day-to-day inventory and warehouse operation while helping improve how materials move through our facility. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Shipping & Receiving team.
  • Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor inventory levels, warehouse organization, and material availability to support production and customer commitments.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
  • Help improve warehouse processes, inventory controls, operational metrics, and ERP practices.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

We're probably a good fit if you...

  • Enjoy leading people while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.
  • Like solving problems by digging into data and finding the root cause.
  • Can balance long-term planning with the changing priorities of a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Build strong relationships across departments and communicate effectively with people at every level of the organization.
  • Believe accurate inventory isn't just about numbers. It's about supporting customers, production, and the business as a whole.

What we're looking for...

  • Strong experience with inventory control, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to develop people, improve processes, and build accountability within a team.
  • Ability to obtain required hazardous materials shipping certifications.

Why Chroma Scape?

Every day brings a different challenge, and that's part of what makes this role rewarding.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a team, work closely with departments across the business, and influence how materials move from receiving through production and ultimately to our customers.
