Linen Porter – £12,729.60 per annum (£12.24 per hour), 20 hours per week (4 days).
Job OverviewYou will be working behind the scenes ensuring our laundry is ready for our room attendants. The role requires strong organisational skills, a friendly customer‑service attitude and the ability to transport linen across the hotel. This is a physically demanding, fast‑paced role that keeps you moving and fit throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage the hotel’s linen inventory, ensuring it is ready for the front‑line staff.
- Transport linens to and from guest rooms and various hotel departments.
- Assist room attendants with their linen needs on a daily basis.
- Perform daily clean‑up tasks at the laundering area to maintain a safe, tidy environment.
- Track and report linen usage and replenishment to management.
- Support the team during peak periods (evenings and weekends) and adapt to flexible shift patterns.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong customer‑service orientation – interact with guests daily.
- Physical fitness to conduct manual handling and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including evenings, weekends and nights).
- Ability to follow direction and work within a team.
