Facilities PPM Technician (Part Time / Temporary) £16.92 per hour (PAYE) | East London | Student Accommodation

A Facilities PPM Technician position is available in Stratford, offered by Pertemps London. This part-time, temporary role pays £16.92 per hour and involves working three days weekly, from 9am to 5pm. Based within student accommodation, the post focuses on building safety and compliance. Key Details

  • Start: ASAP
  • Schedule:

    3 days per week between Monday-Friday
  • Hours:

    9am–5pm (22.5 hours per week)

Role Overview

You’ll carry out a blend of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the building remains safe, compliant and ready for residents.

Duties include:

  • General maintenance repairs — routine fault finding and minor repairs
  • PPM duties — fire alarm tests, lift inspections, plant room checks, emergency lighting inspections, critical equipment checks and external property inspections
  • Health & Safety compliance — ensuring safe working practices and accurate record‑keeping
