Staff Accountant – Treasury
Location:
Stratford, CT
Schedule:

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant – Treasury- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash activity
- Assist with cash forecasting, treasury reporting, and account analysis
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
- Support internal controls, audits, and financial reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably involving reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting, cash management, and month-end close procedures
