Scheduler/Unit Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler/Unit Clerk to join our team at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a part of Ryders Health, a family-owned management company for independent skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers. As a Scheduler/Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our nursing staff, patients, and families. Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments, treatments, and testing in a timely and efficient manner

  • Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth operations on the unit

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

  • Provide administrative support to the nursing staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other clerical tasks

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a scheduling or unit clerk role, is preferred

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in records and documentation
