Job Summary

The Scholarship Coordinator at Stratford High School will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating scholarship opportunities for students. This position involves collaborating with students, families, and community partners to promote scholarship awareness, streamline application processes, and ensure that students have access to financial resources for their post-secondary education. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for student success, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of available scholarships, including local, state, and national opportunities.
  • Communicate scholarship opportunities to students and families through workshops, informational sessions, and digital platforms.
  • Assist students in the scholarship application process, including reviewing applications, providing feedback, and conducting mock interviews.
  • Collaborate with school counselors and faculty to identify students who may benefit from scholarship opportunities.
  • Organize and coordinate scholarship events, such as fairs, workshops, and award ceremonies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with scholarship providers, community organizations, and higher education institutions.
  • Monitor and track scholarship applications and awards, ensuring compliance with deadlines and eligibility requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to students throughout their scholarship journey, including post-award follow-up.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on scholarship activities and outcomes for school administration and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about trends in financial aid and scholarship opportunities to better serve students and families.
