Mechanical Project Manager; HVAC

Position: Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC)
This Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) Position Features:

• $110,000 - $130,000/year (DOE)

Project Management & Execution

• Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical piping projects from turnover through closeout

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans

• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors

• Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and procurement processes

• Track and manage change orders and scope modifications

• Monitor project costs, forecast budgets, and ensure profitability

Field & Client Coordination

• Conduct jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence

• Lead coordination meetings with general contractors, owners, and engineers

• Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and safety standards

• Support commissioning, system testing, and final turnover documentation

• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Review project cost reports and manage job cost tracking

• Approve subcontractor invoices and progress payments

• Maintain project documentation and reporting accuracy

• Ensure projects meet gross margin targets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC/mechanical construction projects

• Experience with piping, boilers, RTUs, air handlers, and hydronic systems

• Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and change order management

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

• Experience managing project budgets and forecasting

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Valid driver's license
