JOB DESCRIPTIONSikorsky Innovations, a cutting‑edge rapid prototyping and product development group within Sikorsky Aircraft, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are committed to innovation and excellence in the design and development of advanced aircraft systems.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems for aircraft applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and digital design, with expertise in processing, I/O, PCB design, and power electronics systems, including DC/DC converters and inverter/rectifier systems.
Please note:
US person status is required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.
- Design, simulate, and analyze electrical systems using modern design tools such as Cadence, KiCAD, MATLAB, PSIM, and PLECS.
- Participate in all stages of design, from requirements definition to hands‑on lab testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative solutions for aircraft applications.
- Utilize expertise in high power/high voltage testing and design to contribute to the development of advanced electrical systems including power converter systems.
- Create and implement PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital design principles, including processing, I/O, PCB design, and power electronics systems.
- Proficiency in modern design tools, including Cadence, KiCAD, MATLAB, PSIM, and PLECS.
- Experience with PCB layout and high power/high voltage testing and design highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

WORK SCHEDULE INFORMATIONLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed.
PAY RATE AND BENEFITSPay Rate:
- California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC: $104,500 – $184,115.
- Most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York: $120,100 – $208,150.
- For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
