Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college with 3–5 years of related experience, or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Experience with Reliability Analysis, Statistics, Quality Assurance, Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Visualization, or Application Development.
Sikorsky is hiring a full‑time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various aircraft programs across the company.
In This Role, You Will- Perform reliability and maintainability analysis basics, support development of related analysis deliverables for the H‑60 and Advanced Design/Concept programs. Analysis types include R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, FMECA, FTA, failure analysis, and FRACAS.
- Support development of H‑60 Program production or modification proposals or other development and production programs, including technical and cost volumes and supporting technical analyses.
- Support regular EVMS reporting and schedule management.
- Provide R&M engineering design and failure analysis support to assigned IPTs and suppliers.
- Lead or support functional and digital transformation projects or represent R&M in larger 1
LMX or other transformation projects. - Support tools, methods, and database integration projects across Specialty Engineering within RMS.
- Degree in engineering, statistics/applied math, computer science, data science/engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Background in statistical analysis methods and tools such as Weibull analysis, DOE, JMP, Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Experience in database management, application or user‑interface development, AI/ML methods, and data visualization applications.
- Experience performing R&M predictions, FRACAS, FMECA, or similar failure analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers and management.
- Engineering background with good electrical and mechanical understanding; practical hands‑on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is desired but not required.
Part‑time Remote Telework:
Selected employees will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
