Subcontract Administrator

WHAT WE'RE DOING

Lockheed Martin is seeking a dynamic Subcontract Manager (Staff level) to support Global Commercial Military Sustainment (GCMS) after market purchasing activity. You will work side‑by‑side with engineers, program managers, and senior leadership who share a “no limits” mindset and a commitment to delivering extraordinary results.

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages for review, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts.
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Assist purchasing manager with coaching, training and day‑to‑day supervision of team of professionals.

• Subcontract/contract management or operations experience in aerospace, defense, or a high technology environment.
• SAP experience.
• Negotiation experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10‑20%.

• Prior leadership experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
